Photographers Website Management Toolset
The Photographers Website Management Tool Set is designed to make the management of a photographer’s website a simple and painless process. From uploading photos to their website and organizing them into galleries and albums for display to giving clients a login where they can download high resolution prints and files it offers an all inclusive solution to maintaining their site.
At the core of the Tool Set is the gallery management tool which allows the photographer to upload the photos. These photos are automatically sized appropriately into both a thumbnail version and a full resolution version for display on the site. The photographer can then organize these image into galleries and albums which will be directly reflected in the website's design. When organizing the images into galleries and albums the photographer can select which image to use to represent each gallery or album or can select that no photograph be used. Sorting the galleries, albums, and images is as simple as dragging and dropping them into the desired order. This order is then directly reflected on the site's front end design.
The User and File Management Tool which allows the photographer to create users with access to specific folders. The photographer can then upload files into these specific folders and the users can then login and download and view any of the files in their folder. The photographer also has the ability to give the users permissions to upload files to their folder as well, giving them two-way communication between the photographer and user.
The Tool Set is completed with a basic Content Management System or "CMS" that allows the photographer to edit and update all of the remaining content of the site whether it be a bio page, contact page or the home page of the site. The CMS comes with a simple editor that gives the photographer the ability to format text, upload images, and view what the changes will look like. The CMS also has versioning built in so that the photographer can revert back to an older version of any page with the touch of a button.
This trio of tools gives the photographer everything they need to maintain their site and keep it updated with their latest information and images. The Tool Set comes with five designs templates that the photographer can choose from, or it can be implemented to work with a custom design or an existing site.
